Empowering Iraqi Widows to Thrive (EIWT) Project
From September 2010 – February 2013, IF conducted the Empowering Iraqi Widows to Thrive (EIWT) project. The goal of this project was to improve the quality of life of marginalized widows in disadvantaged areas and equip them to be productive contributing participants in the Iraqi economy and Iraqi society.

Interfaith Cooperation Project (ICP)
From January 2011- August 2012, IF conducted the Interfaith Cooperation Project. The goal of this project was to expand religious freedom for all Iraqi faith communities and promote mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.

Provincial Accountability and Governance (PAG) Project
From October 2009 – April 2012, IF conducted the Provincial Accountability and Governance (PAG) Project. The goal of the project is to bring about change in knowledge, attitudes and practices regarding ethical provincial administration, and to instill a new culture of transparency, accountability, and good governance.

Human Rights Advocacy Initiative (HRAI)
From May 2008 – November 2010, IF conducted the Human Rights Advocacy Initiative (HRAI) project. The goal of the project was to empower Iraqi human rights leaders in civil society to be better advocates for human rights.

Mdaina Education Project (MEP)
Funded By UNDP, United Nations Development Programme
The Goal of the Mdaina Education Project (MEP) is to provide literacy training to illiterate and semiliterate adults and targeted computer training to small business owners and teachers as well as select technology personnel. In addition, a computer center was be established, which hosted the literacy and computer training programs as well as serve the larger community of Mdaina as computer labs.
